Gorgeous Dani & Henry’s Dream Day

Surrounded in gorgeous vibes of greenery, berries and fresh white tones, Dani and Henry’s wedding was a celebration of love, friendship and that some things are definitely worth the wait! Covid may have tried, as did their original venue going up for sale, but nothing was going to stop this adorable pair saying “I do”. Dani says it helped them find a perfect venue in Melbourne View Hotel and that they couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else now. Having met when they were seventeen, Henry tried to propose to Dani when on a family holiday in the Lake District but the constant rain meant he could never find the right opportunity to take Dani for a walk and pop the question. So instead he ended up proposing in their garden as soon as they got home which Dani thinks was even better. These two sure prove that everything happens for a reason!

“My dress choice experience was amazing! I went in with absolutely no idea what I wanted and Donna let me try on as many styles as I wanted to see what I liked – I think I tried at least eight dresses the first time! I eventually whittled it down to two dresses and then finally picked Bali by Eddy K the next time I visited. It was so lovely not to be rushed – I could take my time and try different styles to see what I liked. I felt really comfortable and it was such a lovely day.”

“When I came back to try my dress on and sort the alterations, Galina, the seamstress, was also lovely and, again, made me feel really comfortable. She let me decide how I wanted my alterations doing and when I returned the dress fit perfectly.”

“I love my dress because it was quite simple but also so beautiful and had everything I wanted! It has long sleeves, an open back and is really fitted, plus it has the most amazing train. The lace is so beautiful too. I also picked this dress as everyone I took to my fitting said this was the most me and it was perfect!”

“I was so excited to finally get to wear my wedding dress after two years of waiting! For my ceremony I wore my veil and had my train down and as the day went on I took the veil out and the seamstress created a bustle so I could dance at night and walk round easily to see all our guests - even the little changes made still made my dress look beautiful. I felt so comfortable all day in it I really didn’t want to take it off!”
