If you feel like this cheerful couple look familiar, then you’re right! We first met Sarah and Tom in our Love Is In The Air blog, where they shared their love story and the fact that they’d be finally getting married two years later than originally planned (thanks, Covid!). It was well worth the wait, with Sarah enthusing that it was, “Everything I wanted it to be and more.” With personalised cocktails, a live band and the most gorgeous weather, the couple got the chilled-out tipi vibe they’d always dreamed of. And even better, their boys were old enough to be very much part of the day, with Toby telling people where to sit in the church and Ted making the cutest best man ever!

“Alice Rose Bridal was such a massive part of the experience – you guys were unreal! I bought my dress back in 2019 and let’s face it, Covid was not kind! When I tried on my dress at home at the start of 2022 I was devastated as it no longer fit! I rang the boutique in the most emotional panic, but after I’d spoken to you there wasn’t an element of doubt that everything was going to be alright. I knew that you’d all do whatever you could do to help me, and I was put at ease immediately. Galina, the seamstress, was phenomenal and worked her magic to make the dress work, and then ended up having to alter it again when I ended up losing the weight I’d put on! The experience was so incredible that I didn’t need to shop anywhere else: I bought my shoes, hair accessories, jewellery and veil – you name it, I got it from Alice Rose!”

“I loved absolutely everything about my dress. It was the third dress that I put on and when I turned around my Mum was in tears. I kept going and tried on thirteen dresses – everything I tried on was great. I’ve always questioned it when people talk about THE dress - I mean, really? But I have to say when I put it on I took a sharp intake of breath and when I tried it on again I just knew it – this was THE dress!”

“I never thought I’d be able to wear something like that as it was fitted and backless, but it was so flattering. Tom loves it when I wear fitted clothing but had not a single clue that I’d wear something so fitted on my wedding day. When he first saw it as I walked down the aisle he let out a “wow” and burst into tears!”

“My advice is something my photographer told us and that’s to do your speeches before you have food. Not only does this mean the people doing speeches can then relax and enjoy their food, but it also means you haven’t got dirty plates on tables in your photos. Also, having a band in a tipi setting changes the atmosphere completely – we had The Viva Tones and they filled the dancefloor in seconds!”
